Abdiel LopezAbdiel Lopez-Castro, a dedicated and committed Bankruptcy Paralegal & Case Manager at Tran Singh LLP since 2014, departed Tran Singh LLP August 2021 to begin his journey as a law student, having been accepted into Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Abdiel graduated from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law in December 2024 and has started his career as an Associate in the Bankruptcy section of Hughes Watters Askanase LLP. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, Hispanic Bar Association of Houston, Mexican American Bar Association of Houston and National LGBTQ+ Bar Association. Abdiel graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston Downtown in 2020, with his extensive experience in the legal profession, he determined to pursue a law degree to serve the people who face adversity and hardship. In 2022, Abdiel received the 2023 BLS Diversity Scholarship, which recognizes law students pursuing careers in the bankruptcy/insolvency field who are from diverse backgrounds and/or who are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
